On July 4th of 1983 in Colville Washington Hale's Ales released its flagship beer - Hale's Pale American Ale. In 1992 Hale's Ales moved their Colville brewery to Spokane, increasing from a 10 barrel brew length to a new 20 barrel brew length. In February of 1987 Hale's Ales opened their Second Brewery in Kirkland, Washington, on the shores of Moss Bay. In 1995 Hale's Ales moved the Kirkland brewery to the Fremont/Ballard district of Seattle, and Hale's Ales Brew Pub and Restaurant served its first customers. All brewing is now done at the Fremont Brewery. In 1998 Hale's Ales started bottling their ales. |
