Texas Breweries History: Yellow Rose Brewing Company The Yellow Rose Brewing Company started in San Antonio Texas in 1994 and closed in August 2000. The Yellow Rose Brewing Company brewed the following brews: Yellow Rose Blond Ox Beer, Yellow Rose Bubba Dog Beer, Yellow Rose Buffalo Butt Beer, Yellow Rose Cactus Queen Ale, Yellow Rose Honcho Grande Brown Ale, Yellow Rose Pale Ale, Yellow Rose Vigilante Porter, Yellow Rose Wildcatter's Crude Stout, and Yellow Rose Wildcatter's Refined Stout. The Yellow Rose line of beers is now being produced in 12 oz bottle six packs by Great Grains Brewery in Dallas Texas. The recipes for the beers are the original recipes only now the beers are brewed by Great Grains Brewery.
