Oregon Breweries History: Wild River Brewing & Pizza Company Jerry and Bertha Miller established Miller's Shady Oaks Pizza Deli in Cave Junction in June of 1975. They expanded to Brookings-Harbor in 1980 where their son Darrel and his wife Becky manage the restaurant. in 1990, using the name Steelhead Brewery, they began brewing their own beer for the restruants in a new brewing facility in Grants Pass. They allso started bottling their beer at the Grants Pass Wild River Brewery location. In 1994, the name of organization was changed to Wild River Brewing & Pizza Company. Their Brews include: Harbor Lights (Kolsch) Nut Brown, ESB, Hefeweizen, Bohemian Pilsner and Russian Imperial Stout.
