Oregon Breweries History: Golden Valley Brewery Golden Valley Brewery is a locally owned and operated restaurant & brewery that offers a unique atmosphere not found elsewhere in Yamhill County Oregon. The Golden Valley Brewery Building, which was originally a warehouse in the 1920’s, houses a full-scale brewery along with the brewpub & restaurant. A distinctive feature of the brewpub is the bar, which is frequently recognized by visitors who remember when it hosted patrons at the Grand Old Hoyt Hotel in Portland. Dating to the 1920’s, it is made of solid Mahogany and stands four-teen feet high and twenty-seven feet long. From the bar you can watch the brewery in action as the brewers create some of our famous lagers & ales. Located in McMinnville’s historic downtown district, the Golden Valley Brewery has become well known for our outstanding beers, premium wines, comfortable environment and delicious food.
