Oregon Breweries History: Calapooia Brewing Company

For most of its history, the brewpub on Hill Street (sometimes known as Hill Street Brews) was actually The Oregon Trader Brewing Company. New owners stepped in in 2006 and renamed it Calapooia Brewing Company after the native peoples of the mid-Willamette Valley.
