North Carolina Breweries History: Carolina Beer & Beverage Company
Carolina Beer and Beverage started as a home-based business in the early 1990's, with John Stritch, Mike Smith and their families hand-labeling Carolina Blondes at the kitchen table. In less then 10 years Carolina Beer has grown to a full sized microbrewery on Mazeppa Road that brews and bottles 65,000 cases of beverage each month. The Carolina Beer Company, is located only thirty minutes outside of Charlotte in Mooresville North Carloina. The Carolina Beer Company beers include: Carolina Blonde, Carolina Light, the Charleston Ales, and the Cottonwood Ales. The Carolina Beer Company also is brewing and bottling Mike’s Hard Lemonade. |
