Breweries History: Petes brewing company Pete's Brewing was a contact brewing company and had a contract- brewing arrangement with the Stroh Brewery Company in St Paul, Minnesota. In the late 1990's they built a micobrewery in Palo Alto, California. Pete's wished to project a super-premium image without losing its distinctive friendly personality of the Pete's microbrewery. They replaced the cute dog from the original 6-pack packages with foggy shipyard images that evoke tradition and the fine ales enjoyed by “regulars” at a friendly pub. Brews: Pete's Wicked Ale, Pete's Summer Brew, Strawberry Blonde, Pete's Winter Wheat, ESP Lager, Oktoberfest, Honey Wheat, Signature Pilsner.
