Maine Breweries History: Kennebunkport Brewing Company

In early 1992, Fred Forsley and Alan Pugsley, Master Brewer, established the Kennebunkport Brewing Company and Federal Jack's Restaurant & Brewpub. From the beginning their goal was to produce World Class Ales in a truly unique and special location.

The demand for Kennebunkport Brewing products grew to the point where they no longer could meet the demand with there orriginal location so they created a second location and brewery; the Shipyard Brewing Company in Portland, Maine.
