European Breweries History: Peroni Beer - Birra Peroni

Peroni Beer was established in Vigevano Italy in 1846 by Fransico Peroni. Peroni was to grow, in and outside of Italy, opening plants across the country, launching top-quality brands and becoming a symbol of quality and success, a part of Italian culture and history.

SABMiller acquired a majority stake in Peroni in 2003.
