Colorado Breweries History: Left Hand & Tabernash Brewing Company

The Left Hand & Tabernash Brewing Company is a small craft brewery located in the Colorado town of Longmont which is 30 miles north of Denver. The brewery started as two small independent breweries, Left Hand Brewing Company and the Tabernash Brewing Company which both opened in the winter of 1993-94. The two breweries merged their operations in April of 1998. They then created their own distribution company called Indian Peaks Distributing Company.
