California Breweries History: Anderson Valley Brewing Company
Located in Boonville, California, in scenic, Mendocino County,
Anderson Valley Brewing Company (AVBC) opened the doors to its
brew pub in late 1987. Anderson Valley Brewing Company was housed in
the lower level of its brewpub, The Buckhorn Saloon. Since then, the
Boonville Beer Brewery (a Bavarian-style brewhouse) has been
built and Anderson Valley Brewery now brews world-class ales in copper
vessels salvaged from two defunct German breweries.
Buried deep within Northern California's coastal redwood groves, Anderson
Valley provides a beautiful setting with lush greenery that is ideal for
wineries and the Anderson Valley Brewery. In times past, Mendocino County's
Anderson Valley was a remote logging and sheep ranching center.
The Boonville Beers of Anderson Valley Brewing Company include: Boont Amber Ale, Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout, Belk's Extra Special Bitter Ale, Poleeko Gold Pale Ale, Deep Enders Dark Porter, High Rollers Wheat Beer, Winter Solstice Select Ale, Hop Ottin' India Pale Ale. |
