European Breweries History: Dortmunder Actien Brauerei

The Dortmunder Brewery opened in 1867. In 1872, several Dortmunder breweries were united under the corporation name of "Dortmunder Actien brewery". The Hansa Brewery took over the Actien brewery in 1971.

Dortmunder Union Brauerei AG of Dortmund Germany is one of the Dortmunder Breweries.
