Indiana Breweries History: Aberdeen Brewing Company
Aberdeen Brewing was a new-built large semi-elegant restaurant, bar,
and brewery in a new, upscale residential, business, shopping area. Aberdeen
opened May, 2000 and was started by the Emig family of Lafayette Brewing Company.
Aberdeen was purchased by Skip Bosak in 2002. Aberdeen was a brewpub
for the first 4 years of its life but when their brewer, Sam Strupeck,
left in May, 2004 they mothballed the vessels. The brewer, Sam Strupeck opened
Shoreline Restaurant and Brewery in Michigan City in 2005.
