Caribbean Breweries History: Brahma Brewery

Brahma started in 1836. Companhia Cervejaria Brahma of Brazil (CCB) is part of the large Brazilian conglomerate, Amtec. Amtec was formed from the merger of CCB and Companhia Antarctica Paulista (another beer producer). CCB produces beers, teas, soft drinks and sports-type drinks, and AMTEC is the is the third largest brewer in the world, behind Anheuser Busch and Heineken.
